My 11 am flight on Sunday was canceled by the time I got to Logan at 8:15, so I had to rebook for Tuesday morning... Never ever have I been in such a quiet Classics House before!

Hey now. I coined that word.

My story is too long and painful to be relived. :P

Original 6AM Saturday flight canceled the night before and rebooked for Sunday afternoon. Over an hour of waiting in line and panicking on Sunday because Delta couldn't find my reservation, with bonus patronization from a short bitch who shouldn't be working in a customer service industry and was later heard yelling at another passenger. Two hours late on departure, after being told that the runway was closed (spotted at gate A14: Ron Weasley). Baggage was literally the last bag off the plane.

Arrive at airport at 8 AM with Shawna and Sarah. Wait patiently for 12:20 PM flight. Informed at 12:10 that airplane cannot land at Logan, is being directed to JFK (New York City)- may come back later.

Delta decides they don't feel like bringing it back.

All other flights to Atlanta-before and after my flight-proceed as usual.

Wait in line of 25 people for three hours, have more patronization and outright rudeness than I ever will tolerate from someone whose paycheck I am supporting. At 3:25 PM I-and the rest of the line-are told that the line is closed (three people before me in line) and that we have to get in the back of another 30-person line.

I say screw it, leave security, get back my bags (which Delta, instead of transferring to our new flights, told us to pick up at the luggage carousel), check-in for my new flight to Orlando, go BACK to my ORIGINAL GATE TWELVE HOURS LATER, leave an hour late at 8:20 PM.

The next day, drive from Orlando to Baton Rouge.

Spotted at gate A16: Some terrifying kind of ogre.
